WHY I CREATED:
Hope Filled Chats
As a Christian there should always that tug for us to share our faith but I find myself hesitant, apprehensive about the potential reactions and odd behaviors people resort to when you bring up Jesus. As a believer striving to answer the call to be "fishers of men" - Found in Matthew 4:19 , the struggle is real. I'm not an introvert, but I am a non confrontational person so this is definitely a factor when it comes to discussing matters as deeply personal and significant as faith. Yet, there's a conviction within me saying
THERE IS NO EXCUSE!!
James tells us:
If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn't do it, it is sin for them.
James 4:17
So echoing the sentiment that any awkwardness endured for the sake of Jesus is not in vain. Any awkwardness endured for the sake of Jesus is well received and well worth it. Inspired by this belief, I created this website as a tool to help me come out of my shell & overcome those apprehensions. I hope to create a safe space where individuals can explore their faith journey without pressure or judgment. So for any that I meet out in public, that don't have time or don't want to talk to me or maybe they're with someone that might judge them if they want to talk to me-- I figured, If I can get something in their hand that directs them to my website they can learn on their own with no one else around. They can take their time to really let it all sink in and maybe just maybe they will change their mind about Jesus and go ahead and set up a hope filled chat with me making my mission complete. From there I let the Father handle the rest.
